I am writing this blog sitting on my balcony overlooking the beach and sea in Anguilla, a small Caribean Island, just a few miles off the coast of St Maarten. Some of you may remember Maho Beach Resort, in St Maarten, where the Caribean Poker Classic (CPC) took place every November. The amazing CPC event was then moved to neighbouring Caribean Island, St Kitts, before finally coming to an end when the Cryptologic Poker Network (the event sponsors) closed down. I've already been to St Maarten a couple of days ago and also hope to get a look at St Kitts before I fly back to the UK.

Here is the view from my balcony where I am typing this blog entry;

Despite my beautiful surroundings, I have a slight problem back in the UK called "The Grand Prix", the entries do not look pretty to say the least, in fact, that's a compliment and an understatement.............more appropriate adjectives to descibe the situation are;

- sick

- desperate

- awful

- dead duck

- without hope

Surprisingly, it was my decision to raise the GTE from €80k to €250k (against Nick and Simons advice), this now looks ....let me find the right words.......errr....."highly questionable/debatable".

So far we have averaged 91 runners on the Club Day 1's and 52 in the Online Day 1's, but there is no sign of any uplift in entries this week....the forecasted overlay is €122K Cry

I want Dusk Till Dawn to be able to keep pushing the boat out with more big GTE's but a €120k overlay in this event is not going help my case, so can I be so bold as to say just 3 small words to all of my poker friends and Dusk Till Dawn supporters:

"HELP" "HELP" and "HELP"

below is the link that explains how you can HELP!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Cheers Rob

P.S. Congratulations to the 120 players that have qualified for Day 2 this Saturday :)
