Having established a weekly schedule that attracts up to 1000 tournament and cash game players every week (including a Wednesday £25 Freezeout averaging 150 players) and hosting the Norwegian and Greek Poker Championships, Sky, Virgin and Ladbrokes events, it was time to hold our first big buy-in tournament.

Timing could have been better as we clashed with the Gala £1500 main event in Bristol and the GUKPT Champion of Champions. Four weeks before, we announced a guarantee of £100,000 and so we were delighted when 186 players turned up for our 4 day £1000 Anniversary Cup using the WSOP Main Event structure, 20,000 chips and a 2 hour clock - a first for any card room in the UK!

After day 1, surprisingly, the field was reduced to 89 then day 2 to 28 playing 5 levels a day. On day 3, the action slowed right up and it took 12 hours to reach the 10 that would return on day 4 to try to win the £60,450 1st prize. Players had travelled from Norway, Greece, France, Italy and Spain but the eventual winner was Luke Marsh, a UK high stakes online specialist.

The side events attracted 84 and 90 players for the £200 and £100 events respectively, whilst 131 played the £300 won by local Waheed Ashraf.

Next year, we are going to liase with Grosvenor and Gala to make sure our events don't clash and will hold at least 3 major championships with even bigger guarantees. To start the new year off with a bang our £300 monthly event, to be held on the first weekend of every month, is now guaranteed at £60,000: 50,000 in the £300 on Saturday and £10,000 in a new £150 event on Sunday.

With 15,000 members and a year's experience behind us, we now want to take Dusk Till Dawn to the next level with webcasts, televised events and a major event to attract Europe's top players.

Anniversary Cup Schedule

With it being our 1st birthday, we thought we'd celebrate by making it one of the biggest events in the UK poker calendar!

Festival Schedule

Who'd have thought it after the rocky road we had to travel in the run up to the club opening!

We want to make the festival as accessible as possible to players of all levels so as from Wednesday 29th October, we are launching a brand new online satellite structure where you can win seats to the £1060 main event.

Saturday Satellites
Starting on Saturday 4th October at 8.30pm, we will be running a £20 + £5 satellite to win £110 seats into the monthly Super Satellite where the winners will receive £1060 seats into the Anniversary Cup main event which takes place 4-7th December. The £20 + £5 satellite will be 2500 chips with a 24 minute clock and the £100 + £10 super satellite will be 5000 chips with a 30 minute clock.

Thursday Satellites
Starting on Thursday 9th October, we will be running a £50 + £5 No Limit satellite at 8.30pm with one £1060 main event seat guaranteed. Normal structure 4000 chips 24 minute clock.

One-Off Rebuy Special
There will also be a one-off special £50 + £5 rebuy satellite on 3rd December.
