	We have made a slight change to this Saturday's Deepstack event to try and avoid the World Cup matches. The £300 + £36 Freezeout will now start at 6pm with the club opening at 5pm. So hopefully that will give you all plenty of time to watch the match and still head down to Dusk Till Dawn to play your favourite monthly tournament with £60,000 guaranteed.

	Mon, 15th Mar 2010	\| Over 500 played the March Deepstack at DTD
	With 317 players in the March £300 Deepstack a £95,100 prizepool was up for grabs. The final of this 2 day event started at 9pm Sunday with Jono Beck holding a third of the chips in play. By 10.30pm he was heads up with Ramazanali Abbassi who was in great form after 4 final tables at the Walsall GUKPT. The players agreed to take £19,000 each and play on for £6,100, it took another 90 minutes to find our deserving winner which was Jono only once going behind in chips during the whole final. Our £150 Deepstack had 181 players making a total of 518 for the two weekend events. The guarantee of £20,000 was comfortably exceeded at £27,150 and with 5 players left the remaining £19,000 was split with John Exley taking the lions share.

	Tue, 9th Feb 2010	\| Promotion pays off for George
	Up to the February £300 Deepstack we ran a promotion on Wednesday where the winner of the £30 rebuy also won an added package for the Deepstack weekend worth £500. Rupinder Bedi a DTD regular better known as George won one and having made day 2 of the £300 his £150 entry will be carried forward to March. The turnout this weekend proved the weather was to blame for our first ever overlay when only 226 attended in January. 327 players created a prizepool of £98,100 with 57 returning for day 2 and with 4 left a deal was done and George took £17,500 with the others receiving £13,000 to £15,500. Our £150 Deepstack also saw a big field of 188 for a £28,200 prizepool and for the first time the final 9 decided to chop it ! We had 17 cash games on Saturday including a £5/£10 No Limit, 2 x £2/£5 No Limit and a £5/£5 dealers choice. With over 500+ players the atmosphere was fantastic and we hope in March more players will be attracted by the huge prizepools and we will see £100,000+ and £30,000+ in our Deepstack events.

	Sun, 10th Jan 2010	\| First ever overlay in £300 Deepstack
	227 players struggled againt the arctic conditions to play the January Deepstack, this generated a £68,100 prizepool but DTD honoured the guarantee of £80,000 suffering hopefully a one off £11,900 loss. Down to the final 9 on Sunday our two chip leaders were Irfan Hussain and Andriena Nutt both repeat finalists from last year, March when Irfan finished second for £17,980 and in September Andriena finished 8th. These two put on a master class of table control where once one of them had folded the other would raise. The hand of the final was a lowly 24o, Andriena called an all in on a board of Q 9 4 3 with 24o, her opponent had QJ but a 2 fell to eliminate him. The first hand heads heads up Irfan had 24o and won a nice pot on a board of A Q 8 4 2 and Irfan also won a key pot with 27, eventually all the chips went in with Andriena holding 88 v Irfans KQ that flopped a Q for the win. No deals were done so Andriena received £14,431 and Irfan £24,684. We have decided to leave the guarantee at £80,000 and hope the field will exceed the 266 required to break even.

	A whopping 950 players including 786 tournament players attended DTD this weekend for our 6 events. 455 were here for the £300 2 day Deepstack and the £150 on Sunday, creating a total prizepool of £109,650 over the two events. The £300 with 276 runners was won by Alex Jobling, with 4 left a deal was agreed securing all players £11,000 with a further £11,000 to the winner giving Alex a total of £22,000. The £150 with 179 runners was won by Paul Mcintyre, picking up a very nice £8861, Our online Director Simon Nowab finished a creditable 15th and our host and poker director Simon Trumper playing this for the first time finished 7th worth £940. 	A total of 487 people travelled to DTD this weekend to play the two events that make up the £100,000GTD Deepstack Event, which paid out £115,050! Saturday's Two Day £80K event, attracted 280 runners creating a total prizepool of £84,000. Heads up with over £41,000 to play for a deal was agreed guaranteeing £18,000 each and play for £5173 Alex Bowler scooped first place walking away with a handy £22,500 - in perfect time for Christmas! Finishing in second place was India Storrar, leaving the tournament with £18,000 and Craig Young just behind in third place, with a cheque for £9,114. We had a phenomenal response to this months £150 buy in £20K event, with 207 runners creating a very pleasant £31,000 prizepool! Pakken Yung took first place leaving with £10,091. 	Tue, 6th Oct 2009	\| First repeat winner in Dusk Till Dawn Deepstack!
	An astonishing comeback was made by Colin Young to take down his second win in Dusk Till Dawn’s monthly £300 Deepstack. Colin had won the March event beating 346 players to win £30,761 outright. This month with the EPT in London and 760 players in Killarney the field was reduced to 316. When the final started Colin was in 6th place with 292,000 of the 3,160,000 chips in play, he picked his spots to steal the blinds and with 5 players left and blinds of 25,000/50,000 and ante 5000 he had just 200,000 and jokingly suggested a deal. The four big stacks were intent on winning when waiting one round could have increased there payout by a minimum £1700 if Colin had been knocked out and instead within a few hands we were down to 3 and Colin was up to 400,000 when Dost Ghrabie the chip leader with 1,500,000 moved all in on the button and was called by Neil Harvey the second chip leader on 1,200,000, Neil held AK, Dost 8T, flop was 7 9 J giving Dost the nuts and from a likely 5th place worth £5121 Colin was now guaranteed £16,217, a brief discussion regarding a deal ensued but Colin was adamant he wanted to try to be the first player to win the event twice. His tenacity paid off with a huge slice of luck, Dost had 2,700,000 to Colin's 400,000, first he doubled up winning a race A7 v 33 and on the next hand all the chips were in 44 for Colin v Dost KK, when the 4 hit the turn it was starting to look like being Colin's day and just a few hands later having gained the chip lead Dost pushed with 46 only for Colin to find 99 which was good enough to give him his second win and £27,739. Increasing the £150 Deepstack starting stack from 6000 to 10,000 has definitely attracted more runners, the average is now 195 players, with the new 20twenty starting on 24th / 25th October offering exactly the same structure 10,000 chips and a 30 minute clock for just a £100 buy in and a £20,000 guarantee both days, if this is a success there will be 2 big weekends a month at DTD next year.

	Mon, 7th Sep 2009	\| Dusk Till Dawn continues to break records
	Augusts £300 Deepstack at Dusk Till Dawn saw a turnout of 385, September was 339, not bad considering also taking place was PSOP at the International, EPT Barcelona, GUKPT Cardiff and WCOOP on Pokerstars. Since January the average attendance for the Deepstack has been 330 players resulting in a first place circa £30,000! This one was just £19 short at £29,981 and with 4 remaining the total prizepool was £65,504, a deal was struck guaranteeing each player £15,000 and they played on for the balance, the eventual winner was James Keys beating Chris Rose, James's key hand took place earlier when 3 handed his 99 cracked the AA of Ben Turnstill, 90% of the chips in play went in the middle on the Q 6 4 flop but cruelly for Ben a 9 rivered. Having achieved 190 in August, then a record, the £150 this month broke through 200 attracting 206 resulting in a first prize of £10,042! The improved field was partly due to the starting stacks that have been increased from 6000 to 10,000 with a 30 minute clock. Winner Lee Noon took the first prize of £10,042 when with a huge chip lead a deal was agreed 4 ways that also secured an equal split of £3995 each for 2nd to 4th. The same structure of 10,000 chips / 30 minute clock will feature in our new weekend event commencing 24th/25th October. Called 20twenty it comprises of 2 x £100 No Limit Freezeouts each with a £20,000 guarantee and 270 player cap. Based on Septembers field for the £150 the demand for these events is expected to be high.

	Mon, 3rd Aug 2009	\| Record turnout at Dusk Till Dawn
	Despite being the first weekend in August traditionally the lowest turnout for the Deepstack weekend at Dusk Till Dawn this weekend saw record fields in both the £300 and £150 events. In February the biggest field to date in the £300 was set at 360 for a £108,000 prizepool, this weekend saw 385 players vying for a total prizepool of £115,500 and a potential first prize of £34,466! Clearly the new start time of 2pm and 12 levels played on day 1 is proving popular with the players. 65 returned Sunday and by 9.30pm we had our final 9 which included Kyriacos Dionysiou better known as Greek Jack who recently finished 302nd in the $10,000 WSOP event. Two players were making the final for the second time in 2 months, Ashley Mason who in June took a share of a 5 way split and £12,000 and today added a 6th place worth £4772 but even more impressive was Richard Morton, he had finished 2nd in June for a £14,000 payday and today matched that placing but this time netting £26,000 after a deal heads up when chip leader that guaranteed him £26,000 and a possible £5000 more! Our winner was Fraser Bellamy who having started the final with below average chips overcame a 2 -1 deficit heads up to claim a healthy total of £28,000. In Sundays £20,000 guaranteed £150 event again a new record was set of 190 players creating a £28,500 prizepool, with no deals done the outright winner was Craig Taylor receiving £9263. With our 3 standard weekend events there were a total of 843 players across 5 events. Traditionally our busiest months are September onwards so it is looking highly likely that we could be seeing prizepools in excess of £150,000 for our two Deepstack tournaments, unbelievable money for a monthly event that is fast becoming a must play in every poker players diary.

	A fantastic turnout as 322 players came to play our £300 Deepstack. Considering we are in the middle of summer, the weather was great, the WSOP Main Event has started and we moved the start time to 2pm from 7pm 322 runners shows just how popular our £80,000 guaranteed event has become. The atmosphere in the club was superb and we had 97 new members who had travelled from all over the country to be here. Starting at 2pm allowed us to run 12 levels on day 1 resulting in 53 remaining when play finished at 12.15am. These players returned for complimentary Sunday lunch and with the restart at 2pm we started the final at 8pm. The finalists included Mickey Wernick who was short stacked and finished 9th, this was the 4th time Mickey has made the final to go with his £500 win here last January! Christopher Phillips was chip leader at the start and never reliquished it, finally at 12.17am he was heads up against Darren Hodson with approx 2,600,000 to 600,000 and all the chips went in preflop A7 spades for Chris and K7 hearts for Darren, no K and no deals so Darren was runner up winning £16,559 while Christopher won £28,324. The general feedback is the new 2pm start is much preferred by the players and we hope that if the demand is there in the coming months we will now have the flexibility to raise the current 333 cap! The tournament started with 400 runners and by the end of the 90 minute rebuy period it had generated €22,480 creating 61 seats and €93 for 62nd place. 	This weekends £300 Deepstack we ended up with 294 players, not bad considering the easter bank holiday, the Irish Open and a Ladbrokes sponsored £500 event in Brighton. With 7 left a chip count deal was done leaving £6,000 to play for which was chopped heads up by runner up Mark Docherty and chip leader Arjanit Kondaj therefore all 7 got between £9,000 and £11,000. Our £150 had 89 players and was won by Colin Young with no deals, this was a great achievement as Colin also won last months £300 Deepstack again with no deal! 	Our March Deepstack attracted players from across the country, several came in groups including 16 from Newcastle, 17 from Swansea and 30 from London. 296 had entered online, won satellites or arrived Friday for when the live registration opened at 7.30pm and bought in. We opened at 5pm on Saturday and by 5.30pm hit the cap of 333, after 2 levels of alternates we reached 347 players and a prizepool of £104,100. No deals were done and the winner Colin Young took first prize of £30,761 with runner up Hassan Irfan pocketing £17,884. Professionals Steve Jelinek and Lawrence Gosney were 4th and 5th topping up their bankrolls before leaving for Dortmund and the German EPT early Monday morning. Sundays £150 which had 111 players in January and 150 in February increased again this time to 184 with the winner Richard Hawes scooping £8970. 	On February 7th / 8th the second DTD Monthly Deepstack took place, players travelled from all over the country and the numbers increased by 22% to an astonishing 360 and a prizepool of £108,000 resulting in a first prize of £32,029! The eventual winner was Sandeep Shah who after a 5 way deal when he was chip leader that still left £10,000 to play for (usually equivalent to first place in a £300 comp!) swept all before him to pocket £23,649 after agreeing to split the remaining £10,000 with runner up David Mundle. 	Well we certainly kicked of the New Year with a bang with our brand new DTD Monthly Deepstack which took place last weekend 3rd - 4th Jan. The turnout across the two days was a phenomenal 720 players and the club was absolutely rocking! The main event, our £300 Deepstack £50k GTD, attracted a staggering 295 players from far and wide and boasted a prize pool of £88,500!!
