A total of 274 people managed to play the tournament, creating a prize pool of £13,700. The first Super50 finished just before 1.00am with James Shaw in 1st Place taking home a handy £4233 to start the New Year with. 2nd Place went to Nigel Turver winning just over half of that, £2475 and 3rd Place to Benjamin Mortlock who walked away with £1485.

Sundays Super50 sat 240 people, generating a tidy prize pool of £12,000 and finishing just before midnight. After a £2800 deal was made by chipleader Waheed Ashraf, winner of the DTD £250K Monte Carlo earlier this year, 1st Place went to Leslie Harris, followed by Dwayne Stacy and in 3rd Place, Eric Dowling.

So, another successful Weekend Festival kick started at Dusk Till Dawn. That was the good news.
